Indie rock band, Docksuns, have returned with a new single, their second of the year.
The track, named ‘So Cold Love’, builds on their previous release (‘Blew Up a Kiss’) and, like its predecessor, features honest, relatable lyrics. According to the band, the new single is a sequel of sorts and adds to the story originally examined by ‘Blew Up a Kiss’.
The group have been making waves since 2019, and have featured on the likes of BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio; they’re also looking forward to getting out on the road again and are currently preparing for a selection of gigs across the north of England.
Although the majority of the new track was penned by frontman James, each band member added to the creative process to produce the end product; an end product that is, musically, as indie-rock as you can get. James’ vocal is foreground throughout the song which sees the singer showcase an impressive vocal ability. The track is well packaged instrumentally too, and incorporates elements from Catfish and the Bottlemen and The Lathums.
Given the recent successive releases, it’s likely that fans of the band will be hoping for further releases in the coming months.
'So Cold Love' is out now and available on all major streaming platforms. You can also stream the track below.
