Iconic American alt-rock bands Soul Asylum and Everclear will be heading to the UK for a joint headline tour this early winter.
Starting in Southampton the tour will see the cult bands also stop off in Leeds, Manchester, Hull, Nottingham, Bristol and Birmingham.
Soul Asylum formed in the 80's but achieved mainstream success with their 'Grave Dancers Union' album in 1992 which spawned the the shit singles 'Runaway Train' and ' Black Gold'. With melodic, punk energy, the band have crafted a career spanning over 35 years. Frontman Dave Pirner is a true rock icon whom with the rest of the band, has produced several classic rock albums.
With a Grammy award, twelve albums, live compilations and a Greatest Hits collection under their belts, Soul Asylum released their latest album ‘Hurry Up And Wait’ in 2020.
Everclear, who themselves celebrate 30 years together this year, join Soul Asylum on the tour as co-headliners. Forming in Portland, Oregan in 1992, Everclear released their debut album ‘World of Noise’ a year later.
Their hits include “Santa Monica” and “Father Of Mine” and the band are renowned for producing music that resonates with their dedicated fanbase; often serving as a soundtrack to their lives.
Everclear released their most recent album ‘Black Is The New Black’ in 2015 and the band have spent the last year touring, before now finally landing in the UK in a couple of months time.
