Wunderhorse (AKA songwriter Jacob Slater) has shared the official video for the new single ‘Girl Behind The Glass’, taken from his recent debut album Cub.
‘Girl Behind The Glass’ has already proven to be a live favourite, and a highlight of the album. 2022 really has been a breakout year for the performer who has toured with Sam Fender and Fontaines D.C., as wel las selling out his own shows.
Of the track, Jacob Slater said: “the song evolved as we played it live. So we came back to the original recording and made a few changes to bring it up to date with how we play it at our shows, enjoy.”
Using footage from his US shows over the summer, the video for ‘Girl Behind The Glass’ was shot by Gabe Drechsler, who joined Wunderhorse to document proceedings.
Moving to Cornwall in 2017 invigorated Slater who was able to focus on his passion of surfing and to live a more peaceful life. This also allowed him to grow as an artist and songwriter which is now paying dividends.
Wunderhorse tours the UK in March and April next year.
