The fast rising Birmingham based quartet Overpass have today release their new single '3AM', their first since joining This Feeling Records.
Sounding more confident and polished as ever, Overpass continue their development and momentum with a release that is as atmospheric as it is huge - lyrics touch upon the yearning for your crush to notice you genre but are delivered confidently by front man Max Newbold, whom like the band's sound, seems to have a had a rejuvenation vocally.
Speaking of the new single, Overpass said:
“‘3AM’ is an innocent coming-of-age song that I think most people can relate to. It’s about the excitement you get when you’re going out, knowing you might be able to connect with that person, or at least hope that they will call you back when the night is over and done with.”
For a band that formed just over two years ago, their rise is nothing short of astounding after launching in 2020 with their debut single 'One Night Lover'. Performances at Nottingham's Meadowlands Festival followed as well as shows with the likes of The Wombats and The Snuts.
Now, Overpass are touring across the winter and into next year:
