Dublin's Unstuck are back with their compelling new single. 'Anne-Marie'. Released at the start of December, it precedes an EP and follows the trio's debut single 'Occupied'. The band are on a mission to "make songs songs again" and they are well on their way to accomplishing such a bold claim.
'Anne-Marie' is perfect off-kilter pop. The guitars drill into ones head with the intention to stay there all day; the vocal harmonies lifting the track into whimsical daydream territory. This is Nada Surf or The Presidents Of The USA three decades later via Ireland. Coming in at under two minutes, listening to 'Anne-Marie' is like opening a can of coca cola on a summers day or stepping out into the cold air on a winter one - it hits you immediately and is altogether refreshing.

Unstuck are Andrew, Conor and Dean. The three-piece have been gigging their XTC and The Beach Boys influenced rock around their native Ireland in 2022 and on the 23rd of this month, the band play a launch gig at Whelan's in Dublin with tickets on sale here.
With an EP released planned for next year and more live dates coming our way, we are sure to hear a lot more from Unstuck in the next twelve months. 'Anne-Marie', along with the debut single 'Occupied', both prove the mantra that Unstuck are indeed very much 'ones to watch'.
