To hit 120k Spotify streams on any single is impressive and enviable. But to celebrate by producing a song that exceeds the previous one’s quality is beyond astonishing.
However, that is exactly what Midlands-based trio La Vivas have done through their exciting new single ‘The Bell And The Butterfly', the first track to be released from the band’s forthcoming debut album.
Following up on the success that ‘Need For Speed’ attracted, Kevin, James and Luiz wasted no time in polishing up their next release, which achieves the unthinkable in replicating the swagger of The Rolling Stones in their heyday while launching an assault with a barrage of drums and guitars, accompanied by the powerful vocals of Kevin Donaldson.
The band are well-supported by BBC, who featured them as BBC Introducing Artists Of The Week, and they also have the backing from much-loved Trainspotting actor Robert Carlyle. Next, we are sure they’ll be supported by you as they rip roar their way to the top.
Like a grenade ready to be pulled at any given moment, La Vivas bring unmatched energy and passion to their gigs, and if you are to discover more of their stuff in your own time, they produce music that can only ever be listened to at full volume.
‘The Bell And The Butterfly’ is a paradigm for songs looking to unleash emotion. Translucently, the trio aren’t ready to slow down for anyone as they pour their spirit and emotion into each release and hurtle towards their full-length debut.
And just to emphasise their ingenuity even further, La Vivas have also organised their own local music festival focussing on the best up and coming bands from the Midlands called ‘Live Wyre’.
Realistically, there just isn’t anything to dislike about these guys.
