The London-based Indie-Pop sensation Rosanna released her second single 'Need You To Stay' earlier this month, following up her sublime debut single 'What It Takes To Leave.' Both tracks will feature on Rosanna's debut EP which is to be released in the future, a release that we will be keeping our ears open for. Not only that, expect live dates to be announced shortly too.
Immediately infectious, 'Need You To Stay' is a poster song for modern pop music in 2023. Rosanna really sets the standard with this 80's (lovely, dark, retro synths) infused track. With a strong, empowering message, 'Need You To Stay' is equally lyrically impressive. Rosanna has a vocal to match the soundtrack, making this a really strong overall listen.
About her latest single, Rosanna says: “The song first came to me when I was feeling vulnerable, getting back together with an ex – and really wanting it to work out. My producer Alexander Comana and I both wanted a fun, free and sexy sound, but also to have this darkness to the song that represented vulnerability and danger…kind of like a warning: don’t mess it up this time! But ultimately, for me it’s a happy song, it’s about knowing when a love is special, and should be fought for.”
Alexander Comana (Miedo Total) also produced Rosanna's first single and their working partnership is clearly paying dividends, with two equally strong releases for music lovers to discover.
