The indie-rock band Blueprint Tokyo recent released their greatest song to date - 'Stand And Deliver'. The Oklahoma natives explore the strength in building lasting relationships and how important honest conversations are in that process.
'Stand And Deliver' features the band's now trademark piano sound which they deliver with aplomb in their own contemporary fashion. Melodic and catchy, this latest release really cements Blueprint Tokyo as forerunners in their field.
Blueprint Tokyo are duo Kevin Dawson and Andy Hale. About 'Stand And Deliver', Kevin said: “I’m excited to share the song. We grew as songwriters during Say Anything, and now Stand and Deliver continues that journey. It’s all about looking within. We did it a lot as we started working on our new EP.” Kevin expanded, “We have relationships on the surface but end up longing for something more profound. It’s easier to have those types of relationships when we’re young, but as we age, we become more guarded about our feelings.”
It is also worth delving into Blueprint Tokyo's back catalogue which reveals gems such as 'A Whole New Life' and 'Say Anything'. Add this latest release into the mix and there is a real array of song writing talent on display. With live performances in the pipeline, the band seemingly have the world at their feet. Highly recommended.
