We revealed last week that Liam Gallagher had been in the studio recording new material and now the man himself has confirmed that his third solo album will be released in 2021. Furthermore, speaking on Twitter, Gallagher said that the first single release from the new album will be released before the end of this year. 2021 is bound to be another huge year for the comeback king after recently being revealed as the headliner of Reading and Leeds Festivals in 2021.
Former The Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft has revealed in a recent interview with Radio X that he is releasing a new album also. Ashcrofts next release however will consist of stripped back acoustic versions of some of his greatest hits; described as a career retrospective it is bound to contain some of The Verve classics as well as his amazing solo material. Ashcroft also said that he hopes to take the versions from the album on the road in 2021.
