Our Sound Music favourites SINKA, the alt-rock trio from Watford, have today released their 'Take Me To The Skies' EP.
Released exactly a year after their debut EP 'F.W.Y.K', 'Take Me To The Skies' is a hard hitting five track release, featuring previous single releases 'Messiah' and 'Skies'.
The EP is produced by Elliott Millman. Frontman Shaun Sewell-Sears: “It’s been great to work with Elliott again – he understands us and has a way of capturing the raw power of the band, balancing it with a polished production while not losing our live energy”
The EP contains blistering riffs and the by now trademark SINKA sound. 'Skies' opens the EP in style; a huge, anthemic track with intent. Holly Harvey from Tevera joins the band on 'Headspin' but is the closing track, 'Messiah' that tips the scales. The song is one of the year's strongest alt-rock releases and a track that should earn SINKA even more fans.
'Take Me To The Skies' is out now on all major streaming platforms and you can listen to the EP below.
