DDE's are Dan Brown, Paul Gallacher and John Page and the Manchester trio this past week have released their strongest single to date, 'You Gotta (Shout It Out).
The band have been around for a short while now, first hitting our radar with their 'Calm Before The Storm' EP which was an impressive collection of songs that showcased the band's sound brilliantly.
What is appealing about DDE's new release is that it is unpretentious - the almost familiar punk rock chords are no nonsense and direct; you can tell that the band have spent a lot of time on this single - there is a cavalcade of sound that veers from rock n roll to an almost element of theatrics.
DDE's formed a couple of years ago now and their output has been nothing short of prolific. The band creates songs that sound familiar but which are ultimately their own. 'You Gotta (Shout It Out)' is DDE's finest moment to date and we can't wait to hear more from the band.
DDE's are performing a sold out show at The Phoenix Club in Bolton this August supporting The Shed Project and with tunes like this new single on hand, DDE's are sure to blow the roof off.
'You Gotta (Shout It Out)' is out now on all major streaming platforms and can also be listened to below.
