Faded Shades have released their stomping new single 'Second Guessing', a rip-roaring guitar anthem for the ages.
With no-nonsense huge, fuzzy guitar chords and a rousing vocal from frontman Joe, 'Second Guessing' is a powerful release from band who already have their second album recorded and ready to go.
Faded Shades hail from Kent, and with their earlier releases they have garnered a passionate following and it is easy to see why. Their first album was a home recording project and now that the band have been in The Big Jelly studio to fine tune their sound and to record a new album, there will be no stopping the trio, who are set to perform at Camden Rocks this summer.
Inspired by The Arctic Monkeys, Oasis and Lou Reed, Faded Shades manage to sound contemporary with their influences used to fuel their own alt-rock sound. 'Second Guessing' has been released along with an acoustic version of the track, which serves to highlight their songwriting ability - the acoustic version sheds a newer, more mature sounding light on 'Second Guessing' and serves to solidify our thoughts that the band are sitting on a very special second album.
