George Mills has released his fifth single, 'Longer Now', an upbeat yet emotional track that shines a light on the Manchester based performers songwriting talents.
The main guitar hook of the track was started life as a jingle before Mills crafted a vocal melody and developed what he has into this full song. 'Longer Now' is set to feature on a forthcoming EP release, which will also feature a live recording of a brand new song.
Recorded in Birmingham and produced by Ben Stancombe of AMS Music, this new single is Mill's best yet - written about a close friend who was going through a difficult time, the song has a motivational message within the lyrics.
With elements of RnB and classic pop, 'Longer Now' is a radio friendly, breezy sounding summer song. For those unfamiliar with George Mills, this new single serves as a welcome introduction and as the man himself says, "I don't recognise myself when making music, really. It's going to tell you more than I ever would."
With a music video to accompany the song on its way and an EP release on the horizon, now is the perfect time to discover this talented artist.
'Longer Now' is out now on all major streaming platforms and can also be listened to below.
