Prolific Stoke based band Young Decades have today released their anthemic seventh single 'Mediterranean' - a track which more than builds on the quartets well earned momentum.
This year alone the band have had support from BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio, but perhaps the highlight of the year so far for the band is having previous single 'Sinner' used by BT Sport as part of their UEFA Europa League Final coverage.
Of this new single the band say: "The song was written with one vision in mind ‘Think back to that one perfect trip: the first dive into the water and the feeling of escape".
'Mediterranean' is a true song about escapism. A longing to get away from it all and to head to warmer climates, something that due to the current worldwide situation, is only a pipe dream.
Liam Downey, Scott Harvey, James Tidd, Lee Cameron
This new single is a rousing track that features addictive keys and a soaring chorus. Built for a live environment. 'Mediterranean' cements Young Decades as one of the most exciting current bands. With a healthy amount of monthly listeners and a growing fan base, Young Decades seemingly have the world at their feet.
'Mediterranean' is out now on all major streaming platforms and you can listen to the track right now via the embedded link below.
