Brit School graduate Chrissie Huntley first appeared on our radar back in May with her alternative-pop debut single 'Supposed To Be'. Now, the Bristol-based performer follows up with the delightful pop track 'Me, Myself & I'.
Just like Huntley's debut release, 'Me, Myself & I' is presented with an incredible vocal. From the opening lines it is clear that she is a special talent, her rich, melodic voice captivating the listener. This time around, the feel of the track is very RnB, and as such is perfect for summer listening.
Of the release, Chrissie Huntley said: “I think everyone has gotten to know the feeling of long-distance love all too well this past year -
be it a partner, a friend or family - we’ve all been in this universal state of longing to see the people we can’t live without. This song was both my outlet and my distraction from the ache of missing my loved ones”.
For 'Me, Myself & I', Chrissie Huntley enlisted producers Jon Will, Peter Beckmann and TJ Allen to work her on the track. The song is about long distance love during the time of lockdown and as such it resonates in a poignant fashion.
With further releases lined-up for the rest of the year and live performances to look forward to, Huntley's positive and vibrant music are a beacon during darker times. As the artist herself says, her musical mission is "to make the world just a little peachier”.
'Me, Myself & I' is out now on all major streaming platforms and you can also listen to the track below.
