Oasis today released a previously unseen performance of their iconic track 'Live Forever', recorded at their 1996 legendary record-breaking Knebworth shows. The audio has been released today on all major streaming services and you can listen to the version here.
Today's release also includes a music video of the 'Live Forever' performance, which has narration from Noel Gallagher: "We were a pretty decent band the night before I wrote ‘Live Forever’ but it was indie music. The day after I wrote ’Live Forever’, we were gonna be the biggest band in the world. I knew it"
The cinematic documentary ‘Oasis Knebworth 1996’, is in cinemas worldwide from September 23rd, with a special live album and DVD to follow, which can both be pre-ordered here.
These limited edition formats include the 2CD with DVD of the cinematic documentary, plus a Super Deluxe Box Set including the triple LP, 2CD and triple DVD,

The record-breaking Knebworth shows took place on the 10th and 11th of August 1996, with over a quarter of a million Oasis fans from all over the world converging on Knebworth Park, Hertfordshire. These shows captured Oasis at the height of their success and remains a landmark event in rock music history.
The highly anticipated cinematic documentary film is directed by Grammy Award-winner Jake Scott and celebrates the story of the special relationship between Oasis and their fans, using never before seen archive concert and backstage footage from the event, with additional interviews with the band and concert organisers.
