“Don’t Talk” can be described as driving gutsy americana whilst including elements of classical influenced blistering rock. The track is non stop from the get-go, barely letting up for the full duration until it reaches a near -explosive crescendo, like the glass that’s been in your way for so long has been easily smashed through.
“Don’t Talk” serves as the Young Decades' impressive 8th release since 2020 and narrates the feeling of being in desperate need of a change when you are facing a toxic situation in your life and your whole inside is pleading with you to get away. Taking the place of your tattooed and rough faced travelling partner, the song literally grabs you be the scruff of the neck, taking you to the car and setting your off into the horizon.
Young Decades is made up of Scott Harvey, Lee Cameron, James Tidd and Liam Downey who came blasting onto the indie scene in 2020 with “Islands”, their first single and the band have since then heavily resonated with audiences worldwide.
Having a wealth of support from Amazing Radio both here and in the USA, BT Sport and BBC Introducing , the four piece have a unique sound , checking off both nostalgia and futuristic vibes with their heartstring-pulling music and have amassed over 200K streams in impressive fashion.
