This new five track EP by Cassa Jackson narrates the story of her tumultuous love life. The collection of songs highlights her excellent ability with poetic lyrics and honest songs about imperfect, messy relationships whilst being filled with powerhouse soulful pop vocals.
Highlighting the highs and lows felt in relationships, the five songs pose as a myriad of tangled up and complicated emotions with Cassa’s soulful pop anthems showcasing her vocal ability and songwriting ability.
“I Don’t Like It When You Talk About Her”, the title track from the EP is a head bopping anthem about possessiveness and jealousy whilst “Crossroad” is a heart breaking, gut wrenching tale of making decisions during big life moments. “Knives” takes listeners to a dark pop sounds similar to what has made Dua Lipa the global phenomenon she is today. The EP is authentic, poetic, catchy and relatable and fans are set to hear it live as Cassa supports JLS on their long-awaited comeback tour across the UK.
With the upcoming support slot on The Beat Again Tour with JLS starting on the 20th October this year, Cassa is no stranger to large, high scale performances after previously stealing the limelight as she supported The Jacksons in Spain on their 50th anniversary tour. With her unique brand of confessional songwriting reaching new audiences, Cassa looks set to gain herself thousands of new fans.
Further to great exposure on tours performing in front of thousands at massive arenas, Cassa’s trilingual abilities has opened up doors across Europe where she has worked alongside KLYMVX the Parisian duo sensation , recording in Paris Studio Grande Armée and is set to release a track alongside world renowned DJ Steff Da Campo. Receiving the honour of “House Artist Of The Week” from BBC Radio Bristol and recording a “white Room Studio” live session at the station, Cassa has received great support from Melita Dennet at BBC Introudcing.
