Penned whilst touring, “Wait For Me”, the fifth single from Parlour Suns serves as a testimonial to those away from their significant others, a feeling the band experienced while out on the road. The track tells the story of the fact that although one persons life trajectory may not necessarily align with another, hope still prevails. With a vulnerability many of us can relate to , some of the lyrics here really strike a chord and hit home.
“Wait For Me” can be expected to be a popular song within the Parlour Suns repertoire. The band's hopes for listeners listening on repeat and getting the sound stuck in their head have high chances with the catchy lyrics and the aforementioned relatability.
Forming two years ago in Plymouth, Parlour Suns are a young Indi- Rock-Pop band who spent their first year together writing in order to enable them to find and develop their own sound. Reaching February 2021, the band recorded 5 tracks with Josiah Manning producing at Momentum Studios which were later mastered by Grant Berry of Fader Mastering.
The band continued this year strongly, releasing their first single “Embers” in April which was received extremely well across the music community and billed by some as one of the best debut singles in some time. Parlour Suns continued 2021 with great release after great release with “Figure It Out”, “What Else Can I Do Wrong” and “T-Shirt”.
