Words: ROBIN MUMFORD

Consisting of Steve Karsch on vocals, guitar, and piano, and Tony Lannuzzi on drums, Snap Infraction is the extension of the duo’s shared musical brain. Having met many years ago, playing in many bands in many bars, the two have linked together to curate a whirlpool of fresh sounds.

Although taking inspiration from The Beatles, Oasis, Van Halen, Rolling Stones and Supergrass, among many other top names in the business, Snap Infraction produce a unique sound through their release of ‘Repeat Offender’.

The two have recently emerged from their darkened studio to make their first appearance in four years at Arlene’s Grocery Store in New York City, and their newest release to accompany it is nothing short of impressive.

The duo are also a compelling live act

Hearkening back to the days of Britpop glory, ‘Repeat Offender’ features the all-encompassing heavy riffs of bands that occupied the charts in the 90’s, also making full use of hard-hitting vocals and relatable lyrics.

When asked what their favourable quote was from previous reviews, the band shared: “Energetic attitude”, and if their newest song is anything to go by, we at Our Sound Music must agree!

"Repeat Offender" and the B-side "We Both Believe" are out today on all major streaming platforms.
