“Dying Youth” is a five-track collection which was released by exciting artist Harri Pick in July 2021 via AWAL. The EP received critical acclaim and rightly so. With excellent lyrics and strong music abilities on display within each track, the single “Hellhole” had the honour of being BBC Introducing’s Track Of The Week.
“Hometown”, the latest single from the EP blends the sounds of Beabadoobee and Sam Fender whilst Harri also puts her own distinct stamp of the track. With a strong connection to emotions, the lyrics are relatable and push on the feelings that life and love would be made better if people just spoke to one another. Similar to the rest of Harri’s tracks, it is clear they come from a real place and “Hometown” could be her most personal song to date.
Harri Pick, now based in London. was born in Somerset and 2016 saw her begin writing and recording her own music. Harri, aged just 22, has built a strong and loyal fan base.
Finding her own identity and sound, Harri’s move to the busy city life of London from the Somerset countryside found her studying at The London College Of Music. This course allowed Harri to begin gigging and recording as often as she could, perfecting her craft and creating a buzz on the local scene, in turn gaining thousands of streams with each single she released.
