Meadowlands, the one day music extravaganza that takes place on Friday the 3rd of June, have announced that they will have three stages, including a BBC Music Introducing stage. Big hitters Gerry Cinnamon, The Kooks and The Reytons had already been announced and now they are joined by RATS, Overpass and The Rosadocs amongst others. Tickets are available here.
BBC Radio Nottingham’s Dean Jackson says “I am thrilled to curate a BBC Introducing stage at Meadowlands and delighted that the team there are showing support for incredible local musicians to perform alongside rising national artists. Vona Vella and Catmilk are just two of the Nottingham artists who have my national colleagues really excited at present and Merseyside’s Michael Aldag is an exceptional performer found on TikTok with perceptive emotional songs reflecting life in 2022. But there are plenty more; it will be a day to remember with The Embankment the perfect backdrop for this incredible event.”
As well as enjoying some of the UK's most exciting emerging talent, the event is headlined by the iconic Gerry Cinnamon, who is making one of very few outdoor performances this year. The atmosphere is sure to be electric in Nottingham on Friday the 3rd of June when seventeen acts perform across three stages.
