SENSES, the popular Coventry based Indie Rock band from Coventry, have today released their new single, 'Harder Now (For Love)', which is arguably their best release to date. The track is energetic with a comforting rock n roll sound. It is the kind of song that demands repeat listens and if you are new to SENSES, makes a welcome introduction to the band.
SENSES formed in the early 2000's and as such were stalwarts of the live scene, capturing attention from major labels, garnering attention from BBC Radio along the way. An unexpected hiccup with a delay with a Japanese label scuppered the band at the time, however they are currently back from hiatus and quite clearly ready to pick up from where they left off.
Dusting off older tracks and giving them a once over. the band are re-invigorated. Their two recent single releases, 'Drop Your Arms' and 'Drifting' both caught attention from various high profile radio outlets such as Amazing Radio, XS Manchester and RTE 2FM. The new release, 'Harder Now (For Love)', joins the aforementioned tracks on the band's soon to be released album.
SENSES are a quartet made up of Brian Callan (guitar and vocals), Ian Finnegan (drums and piano), Kevin Kavanagh (guitar) and Ronan O'Connor (bass). Their sound is a collection of linked genres, from the tuneful garage rock of Teenage Fanclub to the more contemporary sound of Kasabian. Most importantly, the band have a sound of their own - alternative rock with a strong chemistry, as evidenced on this new single.
'Harder Now (For Love)' is available now on all major streaming platforms.
