After twenty-three years without making new music, The Boo Radleys have made an unexpected and sensational return with their new single 'A Full Syringe And Memories Of You', along with an official lyric video, which we are premiering below.
The Merseyside band gained popularity in the 1990's, firstly with their legendary album 'Giant Steps' in 1993, and their last album, 'Kingsize' was released in 1998.
This new single makes up a yet to be announced EP. and the band are planning on touring later this year, marking a full time return for The Boo Radleys, whose hits include 'Wake Up Boo' and our personal favourite, 'C'mon Kids!'.
Singer-songwriter, Simon ‘Sice’ Rowbottom says of the new single “A Full Syringe And Memories Of You tackles the religious hypocrisy that privileges the longevity of life above all other measures of worth and seeks to redress the distorted view that life is always worth living whatever the cost.”
The track itself is anthemic and rousing. The lyrics triumphant and made all the more poignant when viewing the official lyric video that accompanies the release.
The Boo Radleys in 2021 are Tim Brown (bass/guitar/keyboards), Sice (guitar/vocals) and Rob Cieka (drums).

Good tune. But is it REALLY The Boo Radleys without Martin Carr?
