The Hilder are excited to announce the release of their debut single ‘Lost On You’. The new indie rock single was recorded and produced by Lee McCarthy and Ady Hall at Sugar House Studios and mastered by the renowned Pete Maher.
Hailing from Bridlington in Yorkshire, the pollyannaism of this four-piece is set to turn a few heads for those who are looking for an octane-heavy rock band. Having a plethora of influences that include Arctic Monkeys, Johnny Marr, Blossoms and Catfish and the Bottlemen, The Hilder are much like many other bands who chase the glitz and glamour of the Mancunian soundwaves. However, we think they do a fine job of it, introducing their own fuel to the flames they’re igniting.
The debut single, from the band that consists of Matty Jackman, Sam Parsons, Danny Jackman and Ryan Downey, immediately accomplishes an indie rock feel from the first second and wastes no time in providing a guitar driven sound and a catchy singalong chorus.
Despite this being their first official release, you would have thought they had been playing for years together. In reality, the band have only been together since 2020, so we are confident at Our Sound Music that the Yorkshire boys will only ever get better and better. Being renowned as God’s Country, the north of England has today been introduced to a mighty fine new soundscape through the emergence of The Hilder.
'Lost On You' is out now on all major streaming platforms.
