The best thing about Ivy Ash is that she knows she’s something special, and that is something she takes by the scruff of the neck and uses to her best ability in her latest release. Strutting to the close of the year with one last stomp, ‘Third Degree’ is exactly what you’d expect from an Ivy Ash masterclass.
Fearless, feel-good, and funky, ‘Third Degree’ is a song all about discovering your boundaries and realising how to move forward. This track has been fully supported via Art Council England and their ‘Developing Your Creative Practice’ fund.
Ivy first came to our attention here at Our Sound Music with her brilliant previous released “Rain Again” which has clocked up a deserving amount of online listeners.
Speaking of the new track, Ivy says:
“Third Degree is the first track to come out of my project with Arts Council England. I wrote this song during my development and creation time within the first quarter of 2021. The song is sassy, fun, playful, and a little bit crazy – a mixture of everything you could need!”
In true Ivy Ash style, a dramatic, bold, and self-empowered music video is set for release in November 2021 to accompany the track. But, in the meantime, you can sit back and listen to Ivy in her truest form - strutting her stuff as the main character she knows she is.
With a stripped back, acoustic version of “Third Degree” on the way, Ivy Ash is ready to showcase her clear songwriting talent by showing this new single in a different light.
